Our story
XY Suites opened in Šibenik in 2019: two design apartments, born from a love of travel and of welcoming travellers.
How it began
XY Suites grew out of a love for tourism and hospitality, for travel, for technology and for good food. We wanted a place that brings these together: thoughtfully designed apartments, a smooth, modern stay, and the warmth of being someone’s guest.
Food was part of the inspiration from the very beginning. Some of the best memories of any trip are made at the table – which is why you can order breakfast to your door, and why discovering Šibenik through its flavours is one of the joys we hope you will find while you are here.
The meaning of X and Y
The name comes from our two apartments. X is the larger one and Y the smaller one – and together they make XY.
To us, XY is also a symbol: two letters leaning into each other, like an embrace. It stands for the things we care about most – hospitality, the curiosity to explore, and a shared love of travel.
In practice, Design Apartment XY is not a third space: it means renting Design Apartment X and Design Apartment Y together, for the same dates.
Your host, Edi
Your host is Edi. Whether you have a question about the apartment or need a hand with something during your stay, Edi is there to help.
How your stay works
Self check-in and check-out
Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out until 11:00. Arrival and departure are self-service, with access by code – you will find it in your digital guest guide. Your host is still there to help if you need anything.
Digital guest guide
Between 7 days and 24 hours before arrival, you receive a digital guide with practical information about the apartment and about Šibenik – including your access details, so they stay private until you need them.
Breakfast at your door
Breakfast is ordered through our app and delivered to your door between 07:30 and 11:00, from a menu of more than 30 fresh items. It is charged separately at €10 per person, and the app link arrives once your stay is booked and paid.
Black & White Taxi
Our own taxi service, Black & White Taxi, is available to guests. Rides are arranged directly with Black & White Taxi.
